I'm a Texas native who resides in Henry County with my Wonderful Husband and three Amazing children. I began my journey in education with homeschooling my children until 2nd grade.  Upon enrolling my children in school, I joined the school council and PTO and two years later served as PTO President.  Then, I was asked about becoming a substitute teacher which brought me to the point of becoming certified.  I received my bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University in 2016. Go Bears!  After teaching a few years, I worked on my Gifted Certification 

A few of my favorite things: Spending time with my family, attending my children's events, popcorn, chips, polka dots, ice cream, strawberry, lemonade, Dr. Pepper, shopping, Amazon, Bath and Body Works, traveling, supplies for my class, volunteers, and smiling faces to name a few.

I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade!  This is going to be a Splendid Year in Third Grade!
