My name is Terrie Kenon and I will be one of your child’s teachers this year.  I am very excited about the school year and look forward to getting to know your child.

   This will be my 28th year working in the county, but my 15^th year teaching. I have been at Unity Grove Elementary since it opened. I have been married for 37 years to Carl Kenon. I have two children, Matt and Kristen.  I also have three grandsons and two granddaughters.

    I have taught ESE (special education), third grade, first grade and kindergarten. I am very excited about teaching this year! I will do my best to develop a positive and engaging learning environment in the classroom. I want the students to be at ease and happy so that the best possible learning can occur. My main goal is to see that each student meets or exceeds his/her potential and educational goals. I believe that each and every child can be successful!

    I also believe that you play an integral part in your child’s education.  Your support and encouragement at home can make a remarkable difference to your child’s academic accomplishments.
