Welcome to Physical Science with Mrs. Volante

I have taught science, as well as a few other subjects, for the past seven years. My experience includes two years of Life Science, two years of Earth Science, and three years of Environmental Science, and one year of Physical Science. I've led teacher professional development and helped organize and run the school's Summer Bridge Program for upcoming freshmen. I also lead the school FCA huddle here at LGHS.
In addition to teaching middle and high school science, I have served with younger students at my church in the children's ministry for the past 20 years.​ Teaching is the only job I've ever been truly passionate about. Teaching is what I love, and it's where I feel I can truly make a difference in the lives of my students. I finished my Master's degree in teaching secondary education in the spring of 2023.
