Dr. Teisha Waller, HS Assistant Principal

I am honored to have the opportunity to join the Impact Academy family! As I come upon my 24th year in education, I am thrilled to join such a diverse community of learners.

I am a native of Covington, Georgia. I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Teaching in Secondary Education from the University of West Georgia. I completed my Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Walden University.

My teaching career began at Northgate High School in Newnan, Georgia in 2000 as an English teacher. I then had the opportunity to serve as an English teacher, department chair and inaugural member of Dutchtown High School in Hampton, Georgia. In 2008, I began my journey into administration as the Instructional Assistant Principal of Spalding High School in Griffin, Georgia. From 2013 until 2018, I served as Instructional Assistant Principal at Union Grove High School in McDonough, Georgia. I had the pleasure of serving at Heritage High School in Rockdale County from 2018 until 2024.

I have a wonderful and loving family: my husband, Juan, and two children, Avery and Ryan.

As I embark on the new school year, I look forward to working with the faculty, students, community, and families of Impact Academy!
