Dear Students and Parents of Pate’s Creek Elementary,
The Henry Co. Science Fair is an event where science comes alive. We want to acknowledge the ideas and research of our students! The school will have our science fair in the Elementary Gymnasium in December. This event is open to all students in grades 4-5. Students may choose to work in groups of three or as individuals. Only three groups will advance to the District Fair in January to represent our school. If your child wants to participate, he/she needs to do one of the following:
● Review the Student Checklist to see deadlines and responsibilities https://tinyurl.com/59f5terd
Could you complete and return the Permission Slip, Risk Assessment Form, and Approval Form (participation letter) to the homeroom teacher by Sept. 7, 2023? Link to forms: https://tinyurl.com/59f5terd
● Have an approved topic to research to share learned information by Sept. 7, 2023 (approval of all topics must be done by the Science Teacher and Science Fair Chair)
All Student forms can be found on
https://sites.google.com/henry.k12.ga.us/hrsef
The final group of selected students will be notified before Fall Break. Only students with all the paperwork and approved topics can be selected.
*************************We must adhere to all deadlines.******************************
