Mrs. Young

Hello Parents and Students,

My name is  Mrs. Young and I’m happy to serve as one of the 4th grade teachers. I come with a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students. With 20 years of experience in homeschool education and private tutoring, in addition to serving as the long-term substitute at Impact Academy virtual school in Henry County for the 21-22 and 22-23 school years.  

My teaching philosophy revolves around the belief that every child has unique strengths and potential waiting to be discovered. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive classroom where each student feels valued, respected, and motivated to excel academically and personally.

I firmly believe that a strong parent-teacher partnership is crucial to a student's academic success and overall well-being. I encourage open communication and invite parents to share their insights and concerns, so together, we can create a supportive network for each child. I am truly honored to be part of Pate's Creek Elementary community and look forward to getting to know both the parents and students. Together, we will embark on an exciting journey of learning, growth, and discovery.
