Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s life this year. It was my pleasure to share an hour with them every day. There is a special place in my heart for string kids.

As we are finishing up the year, we are excitedly getting ready for the next. To the rising 9^th graders- WELCOME TO OHS ORCHESTRA!!!!!!!

Our Fall Concert next year is on OCTOBER 21st  at the Fairview PAC. The theme is Americana.

Your kids have learned so much this year that we are able to take them up a level. Currently, OHS students have already gotten the music for next fall. In case they lose it or spill popsicle juice on it, here is the music. Chamber is playing Hoedown and American Sketches. Symphonic is playing the Rubicon and Fantasia on an Original Theme.  Advanced Guitar is playing an arrangement of American Pie. Intermediate Guitar is playing an arrangement of Johnny Be Goode. I am 100% an advocate for taking a break from school in the summer. This music is complex, so it would be awesome if kids could get the hard sections under their fingers before August. Not perfect, just under their fingers.
