Mrs. Tyhisha Charles

Hello! I am Tyhisha Charles. I am going into my fifth year of teaching. I am pleased to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student. Fourth grade is a year of growth with so many wonderful learning activities to celebrate. To have a productive year, my most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. To accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. I hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.

I currently live in Stockbridge. I’m married to Alex, who I met in our hometown, Brooklyn, New York, and have been together since 2000.  We have two amazing and talented sons, Tanaj (19) and Tyaire (17). They keep us very busy as entertainers!

I attended: Manor College where I received my A.S. in Dental Hygiene; Temple University where I received my B.A. in Psychology; and, American Inter-Continental University where I received my M.B.A. in Management. Since 2006, I have been a dental hygienist and math tutor.
