I’m Petrina Rogers and I’m happy to serve as your Instruction and Personalized Learning Lead (IPLL). As an Instruction and Personalized Learning Lead, I work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning in all content areas. I focus on individual and group professional development that will enhance the understanding of research-based effective instruction for teachers. Additionally, the Instruction and Personalized Learning Lead will provide personalized support that is based on the goals and identified needs of individual teachers in support of the Continuous School Improvement Plan.

I received my bachelor’s degree in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Mercer University. In 2009, I returned to Mercer and completed my master’s degree in Elementary Education. A few years later in 2011, I once again returned to Mercer University and received my Education Specialist Degree in Teacher leadership along with an ESOL endorsement and a Reading endorsement. The learning bug bit me once again and I received a Gifted endorsement in 2016 and a math endorsement in 2022.
