I am a proud native of Montezuma, Georgia, and a U.S. Army Veteran. My experience in the military afforded me opportunities to visit many countries and collaborate with people from other cultures, from within the U.S. and from around the world. The most important lesson I learned while enlisted in the Army was to appreciate the little things in life. I truly believe my life would have taken a different trajectory had I not joined the Army and I am very thankful for my military experience.

I am a graduate of Fort Valley State University (B.A. in Business), Georgia College and State University (M.Ed. in Behavior Disorders), and Columbus State University (Ed.S. in Educational Leadership). My education career has provided me with experiences in Bibb, Houston, and Henry County Schools. With over 18 years of teaching and leadership experience, I have acquired knowledge and skills that enable me to serve the Dutchtown High School community with fidelity. I believe in being a life-long learner and bridging the chasms of life so those who follow will have a less fortuitous journey.

I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with all stakeholders in the Dutchtown High School family. The support that my family and I received in making this transition is greatly appreciated and I look forward to building positive relationships that improve upon an amazing school culture and climate.
