•  Mr. Jeff Miller

    Hello Woodland Middle School!

My name is Jeff Miller, and I am thrilled to be part of the WMS family! This is my 14th year as a school counselor and my 21st year in education. My experience includes roles as a Social Studies teacher for grades 6-11, a System-Level Family Services Coordinator with the Butts County School System, and a school counselor at Lamar County Middle School, Tussahaw Elementary, and EXCEL Academy, all within the Henry County School System. I have had the pleasure of serving the wonderful students at Woodland Middle for the past 6 years.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Savannah State University in Savannah, GA, a Master’s in School Counseling from Cambridge College in Boston, MA, and an Education Specialist degree from Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, GA.

My wife, Denitra, is also a member of the Henry County Schools staff, working as a Social Worker. We have two children and a fur baby named JJ. Our daughter, Kennedy, is in her 2nd year at Savannah State University, and our son, Nicolas, is an 11th grader at Woodland High School. In our spare time, we enjoy traveling and making family memories!

My main goal at WMS is to support students and families in any way I can. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by email or phone.
