Mrs. Angelika Lindsey, Ed. S

Greetings,

Parents,

I am Angelika Lindsey and it is my pleasure to serve as a teacher at Woodland Middle School.  I was born in Woodbury, Georgia, and graduated from Woodbury High School.  I am also a graduate of Fort Valley State University where I received my Bachelor of Social Work Degree and my B.S. in Middles Grades Education.  Additionally,  I received both my Masters and Educational Specialist Degrees in Elementary Education and Curriculum and Instruction from Troy State University in Phenix City, Alabama.  Therefore, I am "highly" qualified to teach your child.

Prior to coming to Woodland Middle School, I taught at Oakland Elementary School, where I taught 3rd and 4th grades.  I also taught at Henderson Middle School for 12 years, where I taught 6th and 7th grade respectively.

I come from a family of hardworking individuals who strive not only to be the best at whatever they are doing, but also to bring out the best in others as well.  As your child's teacher, I will implement various project-based learning activities to ensure that they are socially and academically successful.  These skills will not only help them strive as seventh grade students, but will also prepare them to be life learners.

As your child's teacher, I believe that it takes a "village" to raise a child.  Therefore, I will consistently communicate with you as it relates to your child, to ensure that you are aware of any concerns.  I am SO looking forward to working with your child this school year!

Thanks for your support,

Angelika Lindsey
