When applying for a 4 year college, 2 year college, or a technical college, students can choose to take the ACT or SAT.  Technical colleges and some 2 year universities will accept the ACCUPLACER.

 When applying for dual enrollment (taking college classes during high school for dual credit), Gordon State University and Southern Crescent Technical College will provide and accept the ACCUPLACER. There is NO charge for the ACCUPLACER for dual enrollment purposes.  Results are given the same day.
