    Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am excited to be your 8th grade Social Studies teacher this school year, I am looking forward to an awesome school year. This school year will learn all about: Geography, History, Economics, and Government for the state of Georgia.
     
     As we embark on another school year of Virtual learning, we must all practice patience. Although we are 100 percent online it is imperative that we understand the expectations are higher for students, teachers, and parents alike. 
     
     General Expectations for a student to be successful: He/She must complete all assignments to the best of his/her ability on time this includes homework, classwork, and projects. Students please seek extra help when needed, and study outside of classroom hours. Parents engage in conversations with your students about their class lessons, daily conversations will help students retain information. 


     
    Communication is imperative when it comes to education, I am here to assist parents and students! This school year I am utilizing Remind 101, Infinite Campus, and email to communicate with all students and parents.
