Mr. Richard Postell

My name is Coach Richard Postell.  This is my forth year at Dutchtown High School. 

I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  I earned my Bachelors in History from Morehouse College. Later I attended The University of Phoenix and earned my master's degree in Secondary Education.

I absolutely love teaching.  It is my passion and my calling in life.  I have been teaching for 20 years.  All of my teaching experience has been in the Metro Atlanta area. My students inspire me, make me laugh, and more often than not, it is them who teach me many life lessons!

I am enthusiastic, passionate, driven, goal-oriented, and positive minded.  I always encourage my students to work hard and never give up, no matter how difficult the task.

Every student is precious and has special gifts and talents.  I believe it is my mission in life to encourage young people and help them to believe in themselves. 

Government and Economics are the subjects I teach, but overall, my objective is to motivate, inspire, encourage, and lead young people.
