• Mission

    The mission of Rock Spring Elementary Counseling Department is to Reach each Student every day to Exceed Standards by providing a personalized, comprehensive data-driven counseling program, aligned with the ASCA model, designed to meet the academic, personal/social and college/career needs of all students, so that they may become responsible and productive lifelong learners.  As counselors, we will serve as student advocates who support all students and help prepare them for college, career, and life readiness.  We will ensure that all students are taught 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

     Vision

    The Rock Spring Elementary School Counseling Department's vision is for all students to depart empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve academic, personal/social, and career success, and reach their fullest potential as respectful, responsible citizens.

     

    We will be implementing various programs throughout the year, such as Drug and Alcohol Awareness “Red Ribbon Week”, Speak Up and Be Safe (Personal Body Safety), Career Curriculum, Adolescent Growth and Development (5th grade), The Mentor Program, and Career Day just to name a few.
