Mrs. Pamela Tavares-Turner

    Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year.   

     Originally from the smallest state in the union (Rhode Island), I moved to Georgia in July 2013. I have been married to my husband, Richard, for 31 years. We currently live in Locust Grove.  My next door neighbor happens to be my daughter Erica and her husband Travis.

     This is my 17th year of teaching, third at Rock Spring Elementary, after having served as a bank branch manager for 23 years. I have worked with a variety of students in my 17 years, and am pleased to be able to share my knowledge with colleagues, parents and students. I am excited to be serving in the role of co-teacher in the area of ELA (reading and writing) with Mrs. Hayward in 5th grade and Mrs. Freeman in 3rd grade

   I am looking forward to meeting and working with students and their parents in the upcoming school year.
