National English Honor Society Requirements 

is based both on academic accomplishment in English and English-related courses, as well as on overall academic accomplishment, good character, and the ability to embody the NEHS motto—“Gelast Sceal Mid Are”—Duty goes with honor.

• at least one semester at Ola AND currently enrolled taking either Honor or AP English courses.
• have an overall GPA (unweighted) 3.0. 
• have maintained an 90 or better in Honors or AP English Course.

Membership is open for Juniors and Seniors at Ola HS.
