• The Peer Facilitation course enhances employability skills, provides practice in leadership, communication, time management, and demonstrating appropriate social interaction skills. It provides students with an opportunity to work with the school faculty in a leadership role, where they can mentor fellow students or shadow/assist in a designated Department/Office. Students must be a senior, have a 3.0+ GPA, have a teacher's recommendation, be on track for graduation, have good attendance, and have good discipline. Students will receive grades based on their attendance, work ethics, and performance.

    Peer Facilitators may have different experiences and work in a variety of classroom settings, which may include Team Taught, Individualized Instruction, and Honors. You will be responsible for demonstrating positive work ethics and employability skills in the following areas:

    • Time Management Skills
    • Attendance and Punctuality
    • Organization Skills
    • Integrity
    • Communication Skills (verbal and written)
    • Professionalism
