Hello RSE students and parents!

I am delighted to join the Rock Spring family for the 2020-2021 school year. Please know that education is my passion! For nine years, I have taught the lives of hundreds of tiny individuals and my love for it has yet to cease.

I currently hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University, an M.A. in Teaching & Diversity from Walden University, and a gifted endorsement to better serve talented and gifted students. Throughout my years as an educator, I have taught both 2nd & 3rd grades, as well as served as the grade-level chairperson, content lead chair for English/Language Arts, and a supervising/mentor teacher for student interns.

My favorite quote is: “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”  I live by this quote because I am a strong believer that we learn best from our experiences in life. With that being said, I look forward to a fun-filled year of teaching and learning here at Rock Spring Elementary!
