My name is Kimberly Monroe and I am looking forward to working with you this school year.  I graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry.  I have been in the field of education since 2006.  I have taught both middle and high school science courses.  Some of my favorite courses I have taught are Earth Systems, Environmental Science, Biology, and Physical Science.  Also, I am a mother of two beautiful daughters, Cora (14) and Brenna (7).  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, listening to music, and drawing. My goal every school year is to encourage and inspire my students to look beyond the four walls of the classroom, whether it be a virtual classroom or the traditional setting, and view the world around them as a place of learning and discovery.
