Welcome back! We are ready to improve the world!

I am Dr. Zerbranitta Taylor and I am very excited to be your Georiga Studies teacher this 2021-2022 school year! I have been teaching since 2001. I am a proud graduate of Auburn University, Troy State University, Lincoln Memorial University and  Nova Southeastern University, with a Doctoral Degree in Instructional Leadership. Since being at Woodland Middle School, I have taught 6th/ 7th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. I have also taught Eighth Grade Science.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I served in the United States Army for ten years. During that time, I was deployed to Iraq for Operation Desert Storm. Yes, I am a Veteran. I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama.  I am married with three adult children. Some of my hobbies and interests include cooking, reading, and fishing.

Please know that as you walk through the hallways of Woodland Middle Schook, you are surrounded by people who deeply care about you, who are guided by a passion for helping you to reach your potential, and who wholeheartdly believve in you every day...always.
