Supply List

  • Pencils

    Pencils

Pencils are a necessity and students should bring a pencil to class every day. There is a pencil box in my room that I fill with pencils at the beginning of the year. These are to be borrowed during class and then returned. I have a limited number of pencils so if they are not returned, we may run out.

    Colored Pencils

    Colored Pencils

Colored pencils will help when graphing and labeling information. The colors will ensure a separation of information that will aide in reviewing the material.

    Colored Pencils

    Highlighters

Similar to colored pencils, highlighters will help emphasize important information within the notes and help draw focus to certain topics when studying.

    Geometric Compass

    Compass

A geometric compass will be used in Fall Semester for geometric constructs. Though there may be some available in the classroom, it is good to have your own should they run out and for home practice.

  • 3-Ring Binder

    Binder

To be successful, you should be organized and be able to retrieve any information at any time. Students should keep up with papers in a 3-ring binder (preferably with separators and tabs) so that assignments, handouts, notes, etc. can be accessed upon request.

    Notebook Paper

    Paper

Though we will do many things digitally, students will need loose-leaf paper for examples. Students may keep an additional composition notebook however the loose-leaf paper can be kept in their 3-ring binder.

    Ruler

    Rulers

Rulers will help with accurate grids and graphs. Though there may be some available in the classroom, it is good to have your own should they run out and for home practice.

  • Dividers

    Dividers

Studies show that organization helps with success. Organizing your notebook will help ensure a good grade in class.

    Graph Paper

    Graph Paper

Graph paper will be very useful in Geometry as it helps to draw more accurate and precise graphs. Students are welcome to use the graph paper as their general paper as well.

    Donations

    Donations

Donations are always welcome. Items like pencils, tissue, and hand sanitizer tend to disappear quickly. Markers, glue sticks, crayons, and any other school items will gladly be accepted as well. Even the smallest donation can and will help and be appreciated greatly.
