    Founded in 1945, FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America ia a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through family and consumer science education. In the 2019-20 school year, Georgia FCCLA had 30,177 members in 297 chapters.
     
    Chapter projects focus on a variety of you concerns including teen pregnancy, parenting, family relationships, substance abuse, peer pressure, environment, nutrition and fitness, inter-generational communication and career education.
     
    Involvement in FCCLA offers memebers the oppoprtunuity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life- planning, goal setting and problem soving.
