•  All About Mrs. May

As my parents watched me read to my stuffed animals when I was a small child, they knew that I would one day become a teacher.  After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, their vision came true.  I started my teaching career in Clayton County and then moved to Ola Elementary in the year 2000.  During this time, I have also received a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia and a Specialist's degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.  Throughout my teaching career, I have taught a variety of grades and subjects.

I have been happily married to my husband for 26 years.  We have a son, a daughter, and one dog.  In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family.  We have traveled all over the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Italy, and Greece.  Our goal is to visit all 50 states and all of the national parks.  We also spend a lot of time in Athens cheering on our favorite Georgia Bulldog football team.
