Welcome to my 2nd grade class!  I am very thrilled to be your teacher this year! My name is Cindy Runion and I have been a teacher since 2010.  I live in the Ola community with my husband, Matt.  We have been married for 23 years, and have recently become empty-nesters.

We have two children, Tyler and Maddie.  Tyler is in his final year at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering.  We are so excited for him! Maddie is attending Mercer University in Macon for her second year and her pursuit to become a doctor.  

I attended Mercer University for my teaching certificate and I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Western Governors University.  My teaching experiences have provided me the opportunity to work in Special Education for 2 years with all elementary ages as well as 4th and 5th graders in a grade level classroom for 8 years.
