    Hi! My name is Mrs. LaVecchia and I am thrilled to be your 1st  grade teacher this year. It is going to be a great year full of lots of learning and many new adventures. I am excited to watch this class learn and grow together. I cannot wait to learn all about you, but first I am going to tell you all about me. I have been teaching since 2004.  I have loved learning, laughing, and loving each class I've had the privilege to teach. I have my Bachelor's in Science in both Elementary and Special Education from Mercer University! Goooooooo Bears! I am married to my best friend, Mr. David and we have six children. We have two sets of twins, Joshua and Caleb recently graduated from UGA. Go Dawgs. Hannah and Hunter attend KSU. Our son, Hayden, is a senior and our Livee will be a freshman this year.
