Mrs. Amanda Zito

Welcome to Kindergarten! We are going to have a fantastic year and I am so excited that you are all in my class. We are going to work hard, learn a lot of new things and have a lot of fun. I can’t wait to get to know you, watch you learn and watch you grow. My goal is for you to love school and be excited about learning and be a successful student.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am married and I have two children. My daughter is 12 and in 7th grade at Ola Middle.  My son is 8 and in 3rd grade here at RSE. I love to tell stories about him so you will hear a lot about him. I have a dog named Bowden. She is super sweet but huge! She is named after my favorite football coach from Florida State, where I went to college.  I have another dog named Doak, after the stadium at Florida State. My husband coaches football and lucky for me, I love football! I also love going out on our boat and that is pretty much what I spent my summer doing. I really like doing anything outside. I hate cold weather but enjoy the occasional snow day! I also love candy and Italian food. I also love learning. After Florida State, I went on to get my Masters and Specialist Degree.

You know what else I love? Reading! It is one of my favorite hobbies and I hope it becomes one of your favorite things too!

This year is going to be a blast. I can’t wait to be part of the memories you are going to create. You are going to make some new friends, see some familiar faces and be a part of some really cool things. One very important thing to remember is that you can always talk to me. I’m not only here to teach you but I am here to help you, encourage you and support you.
