Greetings,

I am very excited and honored to be your School Counselor! This is my 4th year as a School Counselor, 7th year in Henry County School District, and my 14th year in education. I've served as an elementary school counselor, EIP teacher, Math Department Chair, MTSS Chair, and elementary teacher in Henry County Schools. 

I chose School Counseling because I want the opportunity to work with children and their families on important skills. My philosophy of school counseling is that I truly believe all students can be successful, with given support, through counseling programs that provide education, prevention, and intervention activities. As a school counselor, giving students the opportunity to explore, develop, and nurture will have a positive effect on their lives and society. It is my goal to help students grow academically, emotionally, and socially, in and outside of school through core curriculum lessons, small groups, and individual counseling sessions.

I look forward to working with students, parents, faculty, and staff at Hampton Middle to help the growth of our future leaders. Working with children is an absolute passion of mine. I enjoy building positive relationships, improving communication skills, problem-solving skills, and so much more.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three beautiful daughters, watching and playing sports, and shopping! We enjoy going to the beach and hanging out with our family and friends.
