So I see you're wanting to know a little bit about your teacher! Well, for starters, my name is Mrs. Spence (some of my older students probably know me by Ms. Steele). This is my 9th year teaching in Henry County! I am also a product of Henry County Schools as I was apart of the first graduating seniors for Luella High School way back in ..... (I can't spill those beans just yet :) ). After high school I went to Clayton State University, where I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Middle Grades Math and Science. I continued my education through Thomas University and received my Masters Degree in Middle Grades Mathematics.
I taught 6th grade math for 6 solid years and loved every minute of it. I am now teaching Math180 course, which helps struggling learners with math. It is my goal to make each and every student I teach, or have taught to become fluent with basic math skills.
Teaching is my passion and I am very thankful for all of the students I have been able to guide/teach/mentor along the way.
