WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE

 Dear Parents/Guardians,

 I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest Flippen Elementary welcome to you.  I am very excited that your child will be in my class. It is my hope to develop a great partnership with you so that we may work together to provide the best 3rd grade experience for you and your child. My expectation is that all students that come through my door are here to learn, grow, and be productive members of our classroom. I expect all students to be respectful, dependable, and to always show their personal 3rd grade best!

It is extremely important to keep in mind that we all build on small successes and each child will progress at their own pace. It is vital for us to build a partnership this year. I believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary to maximize school success. Throughout the year, I will communicate with you through emails, notes, telephone calls, weekly folders, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

This year is going to be great because I know that we can work together as a team to help your child soar in 3rd grade. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. Thank you for entrusting me with your most prized possession. I hope to instill a love of learning throughout your child’s year here at Flippen Elementary!
