Hi, My name is Tonya Parkinson,

This is my third year here at Flippen Elementary. I am truly blessed to be at such an awesome school. Everyone here is like family, staff, students, and parents alike. My husband and I are a very big blended family with nine children and 18 grands. We enjoy traveling across the United States to visit all of them on my off days.

I have been in education for 20+ years. Every year I look forward to receiving a new group of students to mold into model citizens of Flippen Elementary. Teaching is so much fun for me. I love seeing the light bulb come on when a student learns something new. Seeing the joy in their eyes makes my heart swell with love for my job. I am looking forward to a Flippen Fabulous year.
