    Greetings,
     
    What an aWESome opportunity it is to serve as the very proud principal of Woodland Elementary School for a third year.  I am committed to providing our students with the best educational experiences of their lives. I will always strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic ability.  Everything we do at Woodland Elementary School will focus on the enhancement of quality daily instruction, student achievement, and the growth of our Woodland Cluster community. 
     
    This school year, our goal is for every Woodland Elementary School student to read at or above grade level by the end of the school year.  We encourage you to read to and with your child daily.  Also, allow your child to read to you. While reading, focus on accuracy, fluency, and comprehension questions.  We want our students to be able to identify the words and understand what they are reading.   
     
    Every WES child, parent, faculty, staff, and community member will feel welcomed, connected, and a part of the Woodland Elementary School family. I have an open-door policy and value every stakeholder. I am honored to work alongside Woodland Elementary School’s highly qualified and dedicated staff, wonderful students, and supportive parents.
