They also have other programs that may not be able to get the hope career grant but they still can get the hope grant then upgrade to a zell miller grant if you do well by getting a 3.5 in your 1st semester of your certificate or diploma program!

Remember if you pursue an associate, you won't receive the hope grant(or zell grant) and hope career grant since that funding is just for a certificate and a diploma.
The hope and zell scholarship is the one that covers associates and bachelors, so you must meet the hope scholarship requirements if you want funding for an associate.
Fun fact:
if you do a diploma first, you can get the hope grant and if that diploma is a high-demand career, you can get the hope career grant as well to make it mostly if not a fully free diploma.
Additionally, once you finish your diploma program, you can actually transfer to an associate and get the hope scholarship if 30 credits transfer with a 3.0 higher gpa.
