Hi and welcome to the 2022-2023 school year.  Although I am new to the Fabulous Flippen Family, I have been an educator for 22 full years.  I was born in Paterson, New Jersey, but raised in Decatur, Ga where I attended Dekalb County Schools.  After Graduating from Georgia Southern University in 2000, I returned to Dekalb County to teach until deciding to teach in the community in which I have resided for over 16 years.

I obtained my Master's in Instructional Technology in 2005 and recently my Specialist in Elementary Education in 2021.  I am the very proud mother of 2 sons who attend McDonough High and Middle Schools and a daughter who is in third grade here at Flippen.  I cannot fail to mention my fur baby, Bentlee.  As their biggest fan, you can always find me on the sidelines of a baseball field or a basketball court cheering on my sons or on the field helping my daughter.  I love spending time with my very large family and making new memories with the ones I love.  I am really looking forward to this new venture in my life as we learn and grow together.
