Dr. Jeffrey Gonda

Thank you for visiting my site, and for your interest in Hampton Chorus. I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. I received degrees in music from the University of Wyoming and the University of Arizona, after which I taught music at a community college in Oklahoma. I taught chorus, keyboard, music theory, and private voice, among other classes.After four years, I returned to school at the University of Oklahoma, where I received a doctorate in choral music. 

I have been teaching at Hampton High school since 2021, and I am excited for the opportunity to grow the music and fine arts programs at Hampton High. I hope we can work to build a strong community that takes pride in music and art of all styles and origins throughout history. I also hope to make choir a place of community and belonging for all students who have an interest in the choral art form.
