I am a native of Atlanta, Ga., and a product of Dekalb County Schools. I have a BA in English with a concentration in Literature from Georgia State University and a MS. in Legal Studies. I am a 7th grade Social Studies and Read 180 teacher for 7th grade- Team 703. I enjoy blogging and taking selfies. My favorite book is The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Teaching scholars is a passion of mine that I do not take lightly, or for granted, and to which I am very grateful to be a part of this journey. I really love working with scholars, helping them grow into the excellent scholars, teenagers and young adults that they are becoming. I strive to make a positive difference in each one of my students.
