Hello brilliant 6th grade mathematicians and parents! It is such a joy to have this opportunity to be your math teacher this year! I am entering my 8th year as a math teacher, having taught 8th grade for five years.  Of those five years, I taught two in South Georgia and three in Dallas, TX.  Due to Covid, my family and I made the decision to relocate back to GA, and make the Atlanta Metro area home.  I have since taught 6th grade here at DMS.   Being an educator has been a lifelong dream and goal which I was extremely proud to achieve.  I am a graduate of The Albany State University, and currently in pursuit of continuing my education through Walden University. 

I am the proud mother of a son.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, crafting, and growing my small catering/dessert business.  Teaching has, is, and will always be a passion, as the desire to inspire, uplift, and change many scholars' minds about their lack of confidence or desire to learn math will always be key.  I am looking forward to an exciting and successful year of teaching and learning!
