All About Me

I am so excited to be back at Hampton Elementary!   I grew up in Marietta, GA, and received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Kennesaw State University.  After many years of working in Corporate America, I decided to pursue my Master's Degree in Education.  I began teaching in 2012 and I have no regrets about choosing this rewarding career as an educator.   I taught 5th grade for four years in Raeford, NC and moved back to Georgia in 2017 with my husband and taught for two years in Griffin, GA. In an effort to continue to be an effective educator, I completed my Educational Specialist Degree from The University of West Alabama in 2022.

I love teaching and watching my students grow into prosperous citizens!  I like learning and teaching in different ways and using different strategies to help my students grow.  This year is going to be the best year yet and I look forward to seeing soon!
