My name is Michelle Williams and I am excited to be a part of the Hampton Elementary community! I have been in education for over 20 years. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education.  I have also obtained a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Phoenix University and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. I began my teaching career in Clayton County as a first-grade teacher and transitioned to Henry County Schools in 2002. I have taught first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, EIP, was a Personalized Learning Lead and served as the assistant principal at Rocky Creek Elementary. I am excited to continue my educational journey as the assistant principal at Hampton Elementary.

Educating children has always been a passion of mine. I believe that every child can learn given the proper tools and support. I have always enjoyed instilling the love of learning to each student that I come in contact with. HES thrives in “Putting the Child First” and I pledge as your Principal to assist in upholding this vision. I look forward to working with each student, parent, staff member, and community member!   I am the MTSS administrator, PBIS administrator, 504 administrator and will be happy to support you and your student any way I can.
