Greetings Rocky Creek Racers and welcome to the 2020-2021 school

year! I feel so privileged to serve as the assistant principal of such a wonderful school!

I am celebrating my 21st year in the field of education. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education.  I have also obtained a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Phoenix University and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. I began my teaching career in Clayton County as a first grade teacher. I transitioned to Henry County Schools in 2002. I have taught first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and EIP. Prior to coming to Rocky Creek Elementary I was a Personalized Learning Lead for 3 years at Bethlehem Elementary. I am excited to continue my educational journey as the assistant principal at Rocky Creek Elementary. I look forward to working with each student, parent, staff member and community member!

At Rocky Creek we are RACERS, Respectful, Accountable, Compassionate, Engaged, and Ready! Our mission is to teach all children to communicate effectively, to solve problems, to understand and cooperate with others, to appreciate and care for the world in which they live, and to be lifelong learners.

I look forward to another exciting school year!
