Welcome Back Hampton Hornetsl!

I am thrilled to welcome you to a new school year filled with endless possibilities for growth and success. Our theme for this year is "Game On (Greatness Achieved through Motivation and Excellence)" - a reminder to each and every one of you that we are ready to tackle any challenges that come our way and strive for excellence in everything we do.  As we begin our new academic year together, our focus will be aligned with our Mission - “To foster a culture of excellence by providing an equitable and supportive educational environment, inspiring every student to reach their highest potential and become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens” and our Vision of Achieving Excellence in All that We Do…the Hampton Way!

Like last year, I am proud to share that our scholars made some gains, and we do not doubt that this year will be even more successful. Our scholars consistently demonstrated their dedication, resilience, and eagerness to learn, and we are confident they will continue shining brightly.  Please review our Achieving Excellence in All that We Do video highlighting some of the great things our scholars did at HMS last year.  

To further enhance the winning and coaching spirit among our students, we have planned an array of exciting initiatives and programs for the upcoming year. Our PBIS Initiative (Hampton SPIRIT) was a success last year.  This year, we will continue enhancing our PBIS program by teaching the expectations and acknowledging students who exhibit the Hampton SPIRIT daily. We will pilot a CAB (Caring Adult in the Building) Initiative where every 8th Grader will have a caring adult connected to them.  Additionally, students will have opportunities for Beta Club,  Drama Club, National Junior Honor Society, and Model UN, among others.  Our goal is to provide a well-rounded education that focuses on academic excellence and fosters personal growth, creativity, and leadership skills.

I am excited to see all of the amazing things you will accomplish this year, both in and out of the classroom. Let's work together to create a school community where excellence is a goal and a way of life.
