Welcome to my LMS teacher page! I am glad your student is a Luella Middle School Lion! I am Mrs. Christy Wimbush your Family and Consumer Science teacher.  I am a Henry County native.  I have been married to Dr. Jeffery Wimbush for 40 year and together we have 3 children (all in which are educators) and 13 grandchildren. 

I hold a BA in Healthcare Science and a Master's in Leadership.  I beleive firmly in family and community development. This is our new beginning for our community and LMS family.  I am excited to meet each of our LMS students, and look forward to an awesome school year. 

Family and Consumer Science is a study which deals with the relationship between families, individuals, communities and the environment in which they live.  Our goal at LMS is to prepare each student for highschool and beyond. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. I am here help! We know that when we work together with our students, parents and community we can help all of our students have a successful year.
