My name is Melanie Riley. I have taught within the Henry County School district for 25 years. My teaching career began at Stockbridge High School where I taught for 9 years.
I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of West Georgia. I earned my Masters degree in Administration from the University of Phoenix and my Specialist degree from Walden University. I have worked toward my doctoral degree through Walden University as well. It is currently at the A.B.D. (all but dissertation) stage.
I am certified in Broadfield Science (grades 7-12) as well as Educational Leadership.
I was honored to be chosen as Henry County High School's Teacher of the Year in 2014.
I look forward to working with the students of Hampton High School this year.
