    Get to know Mrs.Tolbert!

    Hi!  My name is Janet Tolbert.  This year will mark my 25th year of teaching!  I can hardly believe it.  It seems like just yesterday I was student teaching in kindergarten!  For eight years, I taught 3rd grade.  Then, I taught 5th grade for seven years.  After that, I taught two years of fourth grade, two years of fifth grade (again), and one year of 3rd grade (again).  Now I am in my fifth year as the gifted support teacher for LGE and I am very excited to be in this position!   
     
     
    Now, to share a little bit about myself.  I currently live in Milner, with my husband Jon.  We have 2 cats named Charlie and Marley.  For fun, I enjoy surfing the Internet, vacationing at the beach, talking on the phone, traveling, spending time with family and Jon, and sleeping!

    My older sister and I helping Daddy wash the '69 Chevelle, my dream car now!  I'll get one some day!  Sadly, I lost my Daddy on Feb. 2, 2012 to Parkinson's Disease.  I miss him terribly!
