Hello Smith-Barnes Tigers! 

I am excited about starting my 4th year as the Student Support Facilitator at Smith-Barnes Elementary. I oversee all things relating to Exceptional Student Education at SBE.

This is my 11th year in education. I started my teaching career as a Special Education Teacher. In that role, I've worked as an Interrelated Teacher for 9th-12th grade as well as 6th and 7th grade. I also served as an Emotional Behavior Disorder Teacher for 4th and 5th grade. I then transitioned to serving as a General Education Teacher. In that role, I taught English-Language Arts to 6th and 7th-grade students. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Community Counseling, and a Specialist Degree in Special Education. 

I am looking forward to an EXCEPTIONAL year with your students!
