Unique Learning System (ULS) is an online, interactive, standards-based curriculum specifically designed for students with special needs. Subscribers download and interact with monthly, instructional, thematic units of study. This is our online curriculum that we use daily. Students participate in whole group lessons as well as small group math and small group reading lessons based off of ULS. Students are assigned individual lessons that they complete weekly in class. 

We begin our day with a “morning meeting,” and there’s no better way to spark conversation than with the day’s news and weather. News to you helps build engaging class routines with easy access to Today’s Weather and Breaking News—plus a full range of engaging newspaper features and activities to supplement and enrich instruction all day long. Students have a weekly informational topic that they study all week in small groups. Many weeks the students participate in creating receipes and science experiments related to the topic of the week.
