Wildcat Fest:  We have Wildcat Fest 3 times a year.  This is a celebration for good behavior and work completion.  If your child goes through the selected period without receiving any reflections (these are given if a student clips down to red), office referrals, and has all of their work completed, they will be invited to the celebration.  

Dress Code Expectations per the HCS Student Handbook

No holes in jeans above the knee
Shorts/Skirts must be at or below fingertip length
Leggings should be worn with a shirt that reaches at or below fingertip length
Pants should be worn at the waist and should not sag below the waistline.
Transportation:  Ensure that changes in transportation are communicated to your child’s teacher with a note detailing the new mode transportation with a copy of parent’s ID by 8:30am 

Attendance:  

Start time 7:35am, your child will be counted tardy after 7:35am
School day begins at 7:35am…School day ends at 2:15pm
Doors open at WCE at 7:10am
Breakfast will be provided until 7:30am
Lunch with Parents/Family Members

Parents may eat lunch with their child only.
Parent may bring outside food for their child only.
Birthday celebrations: Parents may wish to purchase ice cream passes for the class to celebrate the student or individually wrapped snack cakes (Little Debbies)
Goody bags are not permitted.
Grading Expectations and Assignments:   We post grades weekly.  If your child did not complete an assignment, they will be given the grade they earn for partial work.  We will give them time to finish it (up to 5 days), but after that the grade remains.  If your child is absent, they have a number of days absent to make up any graded assignments.  Please check Infinite Campus regularly to be aware of missing assignments, progress on assignments, and grades.  If you ever have a concern, please contact me.
