     Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year here at
    Walnut Creek Elementary!
          Hello. My name is Dawana Seabrook. I am very excited to be a member of the Walnut Creek family and student learning. I am a second year K-2 teacher. In the past, I have worked as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, and adult instructor. I received a dual Associate Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Recreation Technology from Vance Granville Community College; a Bachelor Degree in Health Administration from Clayton State University; and a Masters Degree from AIU Dunwoody. It is my goal to be the best teacher I can.
         On a personal note: I am married and have three young, adult children. During my off time, I enjoy church activities, relaxing, writing, and spending time with family. Three of my favorite places to visit are Charleston, South Carolina; Gatlinburg, Tennessee; and Myrtle Beach.
            I am grateful and feel blessed to have this opportunity and look forward to working with you all.
