Ms. Murphy

Hi, my name is Ms. Murphy! I graduated from Young Harris College with a Bachelor's in Music Education and has been teaching since 2021. I used to be a student at Smith-Barnes Elementary growing up, and this school is where I first found my love of music. My goal is to provide every student with access to a musical experience that is both fun and enriching. My main instruments include voice, piano, and ukulele. My beliefs are that every student has the ability to learn to play, compose, and perform with the right resources. I strive to be a teacher that students can look to for guidance and feel safe with. I look forward to working with guardians and students to ensure student success in music and learning in general.
